Decision automation from business point of view

Decision automation is key in success of Business Processes. Dr. Áron Vitályos shared his experiences with the audience: How to be prepared for Business Process automation and how to avoid potential traps. Mr. Zoltán Tánczos emphasized how important the awareness of the Enterprise is, and Mr. Zoltán Tánczos Jr. summarized the requirements against the technology that could effectively support business decisions.
The conclusions made during the discussion are:
- expectations should be clear and justified.
- choosing the right process for automation is key.
- maturity has to be checked before starting.
- even complex Business Rules like a financial product should be formulated in a way that business people can understand and approve them.
- the formalism of the Business Rules should avoid redundancy. The same Business Rule can be used from many-many perspectives instead of defining many-many rules.
- the final rules for decisions should be be constructable and testable without the application that will call them.
