The discussion has shown that the main reason of this is that roles are defined from a technical point of view, but unfortunately even correctly defined business Roles don't determine access rights in existing systems exactly, because a lot of dynamic restrictions (business rules) i.e. type of account and place and time of access etc.. should be applied also. T-Logic suggests TCPS - the Rule Engine developed by T-Logic - to provide the link between Roles and Elementary Access Rights.
